Shift Lock

A shift lock (or "foot lock") is a specialized, aftermarket accessory designed to improve rider control during stunts, specifically wheelies, by securing the rider's foot on the peg. It acts as a brace that allows the rider to hook their foot under a peg, providing a "locked-in" feel and preventing the foot from slipping off during aggressive riding.

• Structure: It typically consists of a CNC-machined aluminum or high-strength steel bracket and a specially designed, sometimes foldable, footpeg.
• Adjustability: Many models, such as the Astroworks ShiftLock V2, feature 3-point adjustment to suit different boot sizes and riding styles.
• Material & Build: Often constructed from 6061 T6 aluminum or 10-gauge steel, ensuring they are durable enough to handle impacts.
