The IPM motor

The Talaria-built Interior Permanent Magnet motor uses a magnetic encoder instead of the hall sensors that caused most failures in the older Sting and Sur-Ron motors — delivering better efficiency, better heat dissipation, and the reliability to handle a controller upgrade later.
